We were able to visit our newest family member this past weekend....Austin Thomas Mead. He is the cutest little guy! His proud parents are Rick's cousin, Tom, and his wife, Gayla......The kids loved seeing him. It's so much fun to see their reaction to the little babies!

Hayden and Cajsa played a nice game of barbershop last week resulting in half of Cajsa's bangs being cut....she didn't want bangs anymore, so, with brotherly love, he obliged her request and did it without drawing blood! I'm sooo proud.:)

We are back into the swing of things......music classes started for Hayden and Hunter last week. They go to Let's Play Music classes and love them! I think I have more fun than them when I go. Hunter started on the keyboard and Hayden's on the bells, so I've had to crank up the ibuprofen a bit for headaches.:) But it's so fun to see them enjoying music. They also love to play Rockband and Hunter is pretty good on the guitar.....Cajsa has the chorus memorized to Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi......I must say Rick has encouraged that one. We have a lot of fun playing it.

Cajsa starts preschool the first of September, so I'll be down to one child for a few hours each week!

I'm trying to train for a 10 mile run in December....so far I'm at a good 3 miles, but need to start stepping it up a bit so I can do it without bursting my lungs. I'm doing it with Rick's sister, Heather and Gayla.
