Time sure flies....

Wow! Looking at how long it's been I'd say we'd fallen off the face of the earth. But if anyone is still out there...we're still here, just winging it...:):)
That's been our theme for the past year and probably why I've neglected my cyberspace ability to communicate with the sane people of the computer-savvy world. We've been going to move to packing to when will be moving to job loss to when will we have to move to family loss (my sister-in-law) to are we really going to ever move to...and the list goes on. But even in all this we've had such peace and comfort, that I'm sure we could only have, because of all the love of family and friends.
In an attempt to find some quiet time each day, I've decided to start gardening again. After 2 long years of not planting anything I found inspiration when I saw some green coming up from the asparagus I planted 2 Springs ago. And let me say that it has definitely been my needed therapy! It reminds me of a time when times were a hard and I went on a shopping trip with some friends to Costco. We were walking down an aisle, I looked up and saw the bacon and was just overwhelmed with a sense of peace and knowing that all would be well. So...a little bacon, a little asparagus and the soul is happy! And to think this whole time I thought chocolate was the comfort food! I need to get my food groups in line...
It's been nice to have Rick home and see his positive attitude and can I just add THANK YOU FOR EBAY! To see him clean out stuff and get excited about all his transactions has been fun and inspiring. For those who don't know, Rick has a new obsession with BBQing and we've gone to a couple of cook-off's/competitions in Chandler and Scottsdale. We've were also able to go camping at Lake Pleasant with the Mead's. What fun it's been to live close to family! The kids absolutely love Austin and can't get enough of their Auntie Heather.
