Alright.....I'm on a roll....another update and it's not even November yet. Whoooowhoooo! So, we had a fun-filled-action-packed time camping last Thurs-Sat.....We went down to Tucson to camp at the base of the Catalina Mountains, per the suggestion of the Dawsons. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and cried when it was time to come home.....well, not really, but it sounds more dramatic. It was a good time....even better that we weren't home and me feeling guilty that the bathrooms were a borderline health hazard. Though we have been home for a couple of days and the bathrooms are getting closer to being shut down. But, I'm proud to say that the fridge is finally clean and the newpapers no longer clutter the garage floor.
The boys, Hunter and Hayden, spent most of their time in the trees....I guess it's time to plant some in the back yard. For some reason barren desert doesn't quite help the fact that any "tree house" we build wouldn't actually BE a "tree house".......so, I guess it's time to plant a tree that one day, when we have grandkids we can actually have a tree house. The hats they're wearing are their "Indiana Jones" hats....They are both going to be I.Jones for Halloween. Cajsa had fun and actually slept in the "boy tent" on the second night with no unusual issues. Gunnar was great....after we drugged him.....being the wonder mom that I am, I forgot his blanket....need I say more.
On Saturday before we went on our second hike of the trip, there was an animal exhibit thing
that was way cool. There was snakes and fun poisonous reptiles to watch.....and some non-poisonous varieties that the kids were able to touch....it was way fun....Hunter and Cajsa fed some desert turtles live grasshoppers.

Those pictures are beautiful. Every time I show Brandon pictures of the desert he wonders why we don't live out there! We'll have to come visit ... someday!
